1986 90hp Merc. Flywheel ?

After removing the flywheel is it posible to put it back on corectly with out having to check timeing ? One more....If your stator is putting out low volts on only one of the blue wires and causing only three cylinders to fire is it posible that ther may be dirt or something on the contacts ......could cleaning fix this problem?

If you remove the flywheel in one peice you don't need to retime the engine, if the stator is low on voltage there is nothing to do other than change it.
