Hey guys,
I posted the last two days regarding powerhaed removal. I have got great response and cant thank everyone enough, however, I still am a bit confused.
I picked up the Seloc 1973-91 repair manual. I can't find any real good information about how to pull the powerhead or anything about replacing the upper mounts I need to do.
My questions:
1) Is there a better manual with more details I should be looking at?
2) Looking at the front I see 2 bolts, the back i see 3. I assume there are more bolts to remove??..Does anyone know how many there are so i can be sure I have them all??
3) I have got response that removing the lower unit first can make the rest go smoother. Is that imperative or can it be done without doing that
4) The manual only speaks to tearing down the power head and calls for removing carbs, flywheel etc.. I assume I do not have to do all that for a simple removal to acess the mounts?
ANY help would be appreciated...I thought the repair manual would give me views and step by step.. this manual is not that good...I do not want to remove any bolts before knowing exactly what I am in for..
Thanks!!
