Hi there, I know there might be some similar threads out there already but looking for confirmation on some questions.
So my somewhat novice self went ahead and took apart the lower unit to replace the water pump and all of the seals. Shortly after I learned that I should've marked the shift rod length to put it back to the same as it was. I've read on similar johnsons in similar years to use a length of 21 & 23/32 inches, +/- 1/32. Would this be the correct height for my motor as well, are they all the same in those years? If not, does anyone know the spec for the shift rod length on this motor?
