I found out something that I thought I would share. Mid model in 1986 Force change from the plug type connectors to the terminal block style. Although the CDI's have the same number of wires THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGABLE. I just fried my stator trying to hook up the terminal block style CDI to my plug style stator. Just FYI...
