1986 lower unit bearing carrier wont come out....

hi, i have a 1986 50hp johnsons and the gear oil looks like milk. I replaced the two seals around the shaft, but there is still water getting in. I assume that i need to pull the bearing carrier and put the new seals in, but it will not move. I took the three bolt out and i have the puller, but it still will not move. I guess my question is is there something else holding it. I really dont want to break it. Also could adding alittle heat help.

Has it ever been run in salt water? If so, it could be a real bear to get out. I've had to break them out sometimes. There is nothing holding it other than the 3 screws. And corrosion. And a bit of gasket sealant.
