1986 mariner 15hp, plugs, ngk or champion?

i have this mariner 15 hp vintage 1986. which plugs run better? ngk or champion? i fish and will be using this on a gregor 14 foot wide body. want it mainly for trolling.

I have always used Champions on my cars, But I did get a bad one on my last tune. I like to go with the manufacturer recomended for outboards and I think Mercury uses NKGs from the factory. I change mine every year anyway so it shouldn't make any difference.

either champion or NGK are good. What's important is to clean them at least yearly and use the plug condition as an indicator of your engine's health.
