thanks for answer my ? about if the motor has a theromstat. but does the classic fifty/45hp have a poppet valve? If so where is it location??? Also is there a sensor on the motor for over heating if so where is it at????// thanks mike
No thermostat or popit valve, some 50s have a heat sensor next to number 1 spark plug for the warning system. If you want to hook up a gauge there are a couple different 1/8 pipe plugs that a sender will fit into.
