I have a 1986 150 hp v-6 xr-2. I just installed a new side mount control on my bass boat. The problem is the horn on the control is giving off a beep,beep sound. I know this has something to do with low oil. My question is would it hurt if I just used pre-mix and forget about the oiler which I think is a piece of crap anyway? Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated. I do not have the remote tank hooked up. I just put oil in the reservoir on top of the engine. I also have put pre-mix in my boat gas tank so I guess I am running 100 to one for now. Thanks
