my new project !! saved it from the boat yard/ grave yard bought this boat today for $200 with trailer.the boat needs a lot of love !! needs a new floor,transom ,new seats and all other wood replaced but it will survive and be back on the water in no time!!! i`m pretty sure its a starcraft seafarer the 16ft one as pictured

I see you started a new thread, this must be the boat with the hull dents. It would be best to keep everything in one thread so we can keep track of whats going on with your new to you Seafarer. I looked through your pics and found the dent, looks like it's on the bottom.

It's not every day you get to use a weed wacker to work on a boat! :lol:

the wood on the floor was so rotted it was dirt for the weeds to grow in ...lol
and yep the dent is on the bottom ..looks like it hit a rock

So how goes the hull repairs? I see you got the decking cut and transom wood fitted. Be sure to leak test, repair and seal the seams before securing the deck over the leaky areas.

i think i`m going to leave the dents on the bottom alone ..i water tested the hull and after replacing two rivets
where the dent is that got popped.i have no leaks
