1986 Winner Z880 Bass Boat

Just bought a 1986 Winner Z880 that needs restored, I know that these were made to order and most are different, that's why you can find a wiring diagram for one. But I'm looking for someone who might have a owners manual on one, that migh give me some ideas.

welcome aboard

boat owners manuals generally do not exist.

a 4-page safety brochure was common

generally boat side wiring diagrams also do not exist. that is pretty generic.

you can get manuals for the motor/drive that you have.

Need to post up some pictures for us to see what you are dealing with. We love pictures. As far as wiring goes, that is usually seek and find as to how they wired things. With a good volt/ohm meter, you can easily figure it out. I'll be looking for the pictures...

That's what I'm finding out on the wiring, not an issue, I'll just track each down. As far as pictures I'll get some posted soon.

Ranger boats actually have owners manuals with wiring diagrams which can be downloaded in PDF form. Years ago I printed out couple of pages of their wiring diagrams that have helped me a few times on a few bass boats of different brands that I had problems with. These will not be an exact road map showing street names and miles between two cities but think of them as showing general directions. In other words if you take a good look at their diagram and having some knowledge of wiring they may point you in the right direction.
