replaced original VRO system with the updated one back awhile ago. I have noticed it seems to using 1 gal of oil to 25 gals of gas and smokes bad at idle.

I have replaced all fuel lines and clamps, replaced fuel filter and have tried running with oil tank cap tight and loose.

Can these new ones be adjusted? What could be wrong with it.

I have had it for around 5 years but it has been using oil like this pretty much since day 1.

if you burn that much oil you might have an fuel leak.... i would check for air leaks before the pump... also, the smoke at idle could be a problem with your fuel recirculation check valves... if you look at the motor you should have on each cylinder right after the carbs a hose with a check valve in it .... with time the check valves get dirty and rusty and either dont open anymore or they seize up... buy a manual and check them per manual... last time a tune was done? carbs rebuild? if cant remember or a while back then its time for one... good luck
