Hello Everyone,

Just a question for anyone of you folks about a replacement fuel pump for my VRO. I'll be disconnecting the entire original VRO this summer. Surprisingly, it's running extremely well, but I think it's time.
Would any of you have the type and part number for a fuel pump? I realize I'm going to have to create a bracket and replace the vacuum limiter with a brass nipple, but I think it's a safe bet, unless any of you think different.

Again, Thanks for your help.

If you want to replace the "VRO" with a regular fuel pump system, you will need two pumps and all the plumbing. Each pump is close to $100 apiece and you can order the parts used in a 1983 200hp model.

Your best bet besides buying and installing a new "VRO" is to use your old one as a pump and premix your fuel. New diaphragms are available for it.

Thanks Guys, I appreciate it. I thought I had seen the replacement part somewhere in the forums.

How long does it normally take to replace, ( considering everything goes as planned)?

Thanks again.

:p
