10-4 Don. Thanks. Not sure if I'm up to doing this myself. I'll probably have the local merc dealer do this and get them to zip tie in an extra belt and leave it off so I can sand and paint the pulleys myself. I appreciate the expert advice (and the patience for the dumb questions..)

I don't know what you mean by opposing wrenches on the pulley bolts.

Pull wrenches together, 1 bolt will loosen

Next, borrow or rent a "Port a power" and use what ever ram you can get under the pan with a 2x on top to protect the pan.

I was able to weasel a small car scissor jack under the pan of my engine, chunk of plywood on top of jack.
