I have been advised to drill and tap into the shaft housing to insert one or even two grease nipples into the housing to get grease to enter the bush area to help free up the steering which is tight, I have tried heating it and it does become free while hot but not once it cools down.
Anyone got any idea,s why this idea may not work .

Thanks Skeet***

Hi again Skeeta,

That idea may help your situation.I don't see any problem with adding more grease fittings.
If you do this though, try this idea.....
Heat the area just like you did before. While it's still hot/warm,try to pump that grease in there. The heat may create a fine opening around that shaft to make it easier to get the grease in there.Follow me? Adding grease and fittings may help temporarily, but the cause of the problem still may have to be addressed at a later date.Who know's,maybe I'am wrong.Good luck. :)
