1987 Bayliner capri questions

Just got a capri a few weeks ago, emailed bayliner for an owners manual. they emailed back and upon studying it a little im pretty sure mine is a 1600, but one part puzzles me. acording to the manual the 1600 is supposed to have the portable tank where as mine has a biult in tank. as far as i can tell the decks never been replaced( my winter project), do i guess what im asking is does that mean that in the manually id would have the 20 gal biult in even though mines not supposed to have it. thanks for any help guys, so far this forum has helped me alot.

I'm going to guess you have a 1700, not a 1600.

well my HIN is BL1K20CRB787, in the owners manual in the wiring diagrams is says CR is for the 1600 unless its read different than i think. hopefully with the HIN some one can help me more

Well, it wouldn't be the first time a manual was wrong or a design change was made after publication.

Chart I have says that CR is an 1800

1600 is a CF and 1700 is a CV

well now im really getting confused my manual says 1600, oldjeep you say yours chart says 1800, and overtons for covers says cr is for 1700. does anyone have the measurements for the different models?

Just call bayliner customer service and give them your HIN. They can tell you for sure

The first two digits of the model designate the approximate LOA in feet.
