I just purchased a 87 Bayliner paid 800. Engine was bad, being rebuilt now. Did all the reupholstering myself. If you have the time and money I feel its a good deal.

One thing about my reply. You got to remember I have a lot of time and can do all the work myself. If the floor is in need of repair you had better check for any leaks in the hull.

I would say go for it. Mine needed "interior work" when i bought it also. no big deal, i thought. well out here in vegas marine vinyl goes for $10/yard so that added up over $500 pretty quick so far and im still not done. just something to consider.

I bought mine for 1500 bucks but it has a smooth running V8 in it. How much family fun can you have for $450? thats the way I look at it, all our vacations and stuff are based on the boat, so it opened up a whole new element for the kids and has been well worth it even though I still spend countless hours working on/improving it.
