Hi all,
I'm not sure it's called a "speedometer" but if it is... boat is 1987 Capri 16'

I need the part that mounts on the transom and sends to the gauge (display) on the dash...

Sorry for my ignorance about such things... anyway, what is it called, and can it be replaced?

Also, *any* source for replacement windshields? They were the molded plexi glass, two piece (one port, on starboard)...

Thanks,
steve

They can be replaced. Look in the iboats boat part & accessories section and type "pitot". You'll find one.

They're called pitot's or speed logs. Mostly they are simply known as a pitot.
The windscreen might be another story. Try <greatlakesskipper.com>. They carry a bunch of NOS for Bayliners. It ain't gonna' be cheap
