Hello All,
I find I am in need of a wiring diagram for my 1987 Bluefin 1900 Sportsman,
thanks to my misspent youth, I was able to hotwire the engine and get back to shore.
The issue was found in under 10 minutes, a wrong sized, physically, fuse. t was too long and was placed half assed by persons unknown into the water proof holder by force. it cracked.. and blew.
I would like to know what fuses to keep on board. I know the proper ones for tilt AGU 50 amp and another, which is why I need the schematic/wiring diagram, is AGU 30A.

Being a Blue Fin there may be a wiring diagram but finding it will be the issue. Have you tried to contact Blue Fin in Australia?

Thanks... no reply from Australia.

I just want to know what fuse to use
..
I have the AGU ... fat ones. Yhe other ine, looks like my 1969 Firebirds glass fuse. About the size of a .22 but shorter than the automotive. Ordered what looked corrwct from Amazon. But they were too thin and short. I may just have to replace the waterproof holder with something more readily available

Other then standard wiring practices we're probably not going to find anything to help. I would suggest as you thought of and just replace the fuse panel with something like the Blue Sea model

Replaced the fuse holder with a waterproof automotive type. 15 amp is too low.
Thanks for all the help.
I will be updating the electrics. From 1987 to at least 2017.. grin.
Any reasons why i should not go to all breaker and no fuses?

Fuses are better for sensitive electronics because they blow fast then a breaker. Being a 1987 I don't see anything being that sensitive

Would modern depth finders fall under that sensitive gear?
