I have recently bought a starcraft holiday in the 18' model. I have redone the transom the steering cable and the.back two sections on the floor. All damage suggested the boat sat with water in it for a long time. I went to fill the tank and after putting in 10 litres of.gas stopped. Then I noticed it was.coming.out the drain in the boat. I now have to opperate on portable tanks until o get a.New tank but I don't want to take up the.front.part of the floor until o get.a.replacement tank to put on it. Can anyone.tell me the dimensions.of.the.tank please. Ii am not all that search savy on the internet and have not Been able to find.them so far.

I put a Moeller 18gal in my 18ft Holiday. Fits perfect. I have a 120hp and have not ever run low on fuel. Model #FT1826, cost about $300 but worth it for any tank under deck out of site. Just search "Moeller 18gal fuel tank" Should find it. I bought mine from this blog sponsor. boat_005.jpg

Re: 1987 starcraft holiday fuel tank size?

Thanks grzz sorry it took a while to ger back to y. I ended up tearing out the tank and found a dime sided hole corpses in the corner of the tank. I guess someone dropped a piece of metal that didn't agree with aluminum Don the inspection port or the fill hose. I managed to have it welded AMD re installed it. It holds gas now as well. I am pitting the boat back together. Bit my fishing season is shot. I did take your model number down just in case thankyou for your help. So far I have redone the transom. The floor twice. The stering cable bit I'm sur ill ne happy with my boat when im done. I paid 3200 for the boat and am learning I cm do a lot lol.
