Hi, my suzuki sat for some time, it starts and runs decent but I am getting fuel shooting out of this hole near the top of the carb. There is nothing screwed in there, just an empty hole. Anybody know if something is supposed to be screwed in there? Why is it pushing gas out of there? I am thinking the carb is flooding due to a non sealing fuel inlet? It does run decent out of the water so I don't know that this carb could be flooding itself? Any advise would help with the two questions of is there supposed to be something in the hole and why is it shooting fuel out of it? Thanks, see picture attached. I am referring to the hole that's by itself (not sure if the two holes to the right are supposed to be like this either

My guess is that the hole is the vent for carb bowl ,and the float is stuck or needle and seat has trash in it not letting it close off properly. Take apart and clean and then adjust like the service manual calls for

Agreed -- time for disassembly, cleaning and new needle and seat followed by float height and drop adjustment.
