1987 suzuki DT150

The housing directly behind the prop has a crack, from the end of the housing back about 3 inches..is this bad..

That sounds bad to me, Marine. I assume the crack goes through the casting.

Do a forum search on that problem it is common.

Good question..not sure yet, from what i understand it can be welded..but its cast or pot metal so i dont know if that'll be a bandaid..more to come...
