I need to buy a new outboard for my project boat and i came across a 1987 Yamaha 225. I like the new yamahas but i heard that the older ones had a lot of problems with the oiler and other things. The guy says the engine has only 50 hours on it and it was fogged and stored since 1998. Do you think this motor was a good motor or should i look for something newer?
