Hi, I'm having a problem with my motor resting at idle, it keeps stalling out on me. We recently had the carbs cleaned and just put the boat back in the water. I've read that slightly opening the idle stop screw allows the idle to sit at higher rpm and should solve the problem, but I cannot locate the screw. When I was cleaning out the boat, I left the manual in my garage. I'm kind of concerned that I'm going to have a problem docking since I can't keep the motor in neutral. I'll figure something out, but I'd like to attempt to fix this before I go in to dock if possible.

Thanks for the help.

After. Last season I had the boat only a month before the docks came out and it never did this. At times it took a while to get the motor started and would stall out when I put it in gear, but I never had the idling problem.

I'm assuming that solving the first problem will solve this, but I should add that it stalls at low speed when in gear as well as when it's idling. It runs fine at middle to high speed.

Were the carbs installed in the correct spots. The top carbs are different than the bottom ones.
