1988 225 Evinrude cuts out

Hello all...

I have a 88 225 Evinrude. Last week i was running about 3500 rpms and the OB just cut out on me. It does it everytime i run it open from 3000 rpms and up and run for about 2-5 minutes. Funny thing is after it shuts down..it starts right back up so i dont think its a fuel problem. I was able to run home at about 2500 rpms with no problems. Does anyone have any ideas where to start?

high speed jets clogged? check if the bulb on the hose is calaspsing. when it cuts out.

Not sure about the jets... i did check the primer bulb while it was shutting down and it was hard...

I changed the plugs about 2 months ago. I am also having a problem with the plugs loading up at an idle. Thats why i changed them. Once i open it up it clears out and runs fine up until this last problem of it cutting out on my.

u need to rebuild the carbs and sync and link it
