1988 25HP Evinrude compression OK?

Is this a low compression for a 1988, rope start, 2-cylinder, 25hp Evinrude? I came up with 75 in both cylinders.<br /><br />If it is, what should I be looking for as the problem?<br /><br />This engine won't start. Spark is good. Plugs are new. Gas and oil mix is new (50 to 1).<br /><br />Any response would be greatly appreciated.<br /><br />I won't be able to check on responses for a few weeks. Will be away from computer.<br /><br />Thanks in advance.

75 is pretty low but it's rare that both cylinders are low together..<br />How did you test it?
