I just acquired this outboard motor and noticed that on the control lever there are 2 red buttons or levers.I know the the large red lever under the control knob must be squeezed when shifting. But there is a little red button on the outside end of the knob, and have no idea what that is for. There is also a black rubber button on the shift lever shaft, but I know what that is for.
What is the little square red button on the shift knob for?
