1988 48 hp prop shaft bearing carrier

My question is , are these bearing carriers inter changable with other carriers? Mine has a crack and I can not find anywhere. My part # is 0386920 . It looks like 320037 might fit witch I can get. Any help would be helpful . Tnx in advance Tim

It came with a spare lower unit that was all apart that looks exactly the same as the one that was on it
