i have been looking through these posts for a few days now, but I still haven't found my answer. I made the mistake of opening up the VRO on my 48. Now it won't seal. I tried the old gasket maker trick, but no help. When I bought the motor it already had the oil injection plugged. When I started looking through the manual, I couldn't even find a 48 listed with a VRO. Now I wonder if this was added by the previous owner. How do you find out what a motor was shipped with? Model #E48ESLCCC S/N 170598. The intake cover is the one for the VRO and all the lines seem to be in the right place. Second question...what standard pump will work...something off an old 50 or 70???
