1988 5.0 xl alpha possible engine replacement opinions/cost

Im thinking it may be time to replace one of my motors.I know there is no low cost means of having this done as it is beyond my capability.Curious to know who has had to do the same and which route did u go? guess I should have put some $$ aside all the years it ran well and didnt cost me much.lol Charlie

Well, if we knew what motor accessories you also want on the new motor. You should be carb`d so about 2600-3200 for a NEW long block and about 10 hours labor
