1988 50hp Force, worm-up

I have a 1988 50hp Force and it runs great!
Except at worm-up, stars good with a little choke but it takes about two or three minutes and it kinda sputters and takes off. RPM's go up and will start and run just fine the rest of the day. If I stay the night it will also start up and go just fine!
I have 140 lbs of compression (cold)

When was the last time you replaced the spark plugs? Usually, cold starting problems are directly associated with fouled plugs.

Plugs are new..
