Ok so I was running my new throttle control on my boat today, ran good. 34mph on rough lake with around 500-600lbs of gear including people. Then noticed gas dripping out the screws for the air baffle. It was comming from the carb float bowls. As I saw this and decided to call it a day the boat had problems starting, im guessing cause the carbs were seeping gas from the top of the float bowl. Opened it up to find no gasket !!?! Which Im guessing is 90% of my issue, question is does anyone know a gasket that will fit ontop of the float bowl? I need a quick fix for plans friday afternoon until i get a carb rebuild kit, heard some b&s carb kits have matching gaskets but dont wanna get one if they dont fit, thinking auto zone and gasket material to seal it up for the one day. any one know of a same size gasket to save me some cutting time ? thanks in advance

Clean the groove in the casting well with solvent and dry it. Then fill the groove with silicone rubber, scrape flat, and let cure overnight. Reattach the bowl. It may not last, but I suspect you will get at least a day's running out of it.

Hmmmm---I like that. I think I'll try it just for s***s and giggles
