I am assuming that My 17ft bayliner cuddy came originally with a 80 or 85 hp force outboard on it. If this is true, the force engine only lists 3 prop pitches avail., 15,17,19. My boat now has a 1994 johnson 88 on it and I need to replace the prop but have no idea what the pitch is on the prop I have, or what the pitch "should" be for the boat. The only number on my prop I can find is "P3 95". that is on the shaft housing of the prop. It runs about 30 mph wot, and gets good fuel mileage, but with more than 2 people in it, it is hard to get out of the hole and on plain so I am thinking it has the wrong pitch prop. Can anyone tell me what the pitch should be for a boat like this or I can find that info? Thanks

I already answered this in another posting for you, but here ya go anyhow, try the following application at:

it looks as if you are looking at either a 13.25"x19P or 13.25"x17P depending on what you want to use it for, the 17P ironically is the same as the one on my 75hp Evinrude and she runs around all day at about 32-33mph, however I also have a 16ft with a different hull design. The point is to get you started with a good starting point.
