1988 bayliner cobra electrical wiring/bilge pump question

i think this would be the right forum. i bought a 1988 bayliner cobra last year excellent shape. the last thing remaining though is the bilge pump. the switch on the dash to turn it on (when i flip it on) i couldnt hear the sound from the bilge pump when you turn it on. even to look at it im not sure where its locate dor if i would have to take part of the floor out just to access it any suggestions would be great thanks

Should be directly under the oil pan...or in that area, if you have an outboard.

Did you check the fuse?
