I have a 1988 Force 125 that falls on its face over 1500 rpm. I've replaced the plugs, had the carbs rebuilt, checked for plugged exaust, had the fuel pump rebuilt, and replaced all the fuel lines. It has spark starts and idles great, but just won't run over 1500 without stalling. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking that your only running on two cylinders. You should get 2000 rpm in neutral. Then pull off a coil wire at a time to see if there is any change.

you might want to examine the head and piston tops by removing the heads but the coil remark was the first thing I would have done if you replace the coils get some new plug wires too

Thanks for the advice. It has good spark at Idle but over 1000 rpm Two of the cylinders loose spark. Any Ideas on what could cause this?

Thanks again,

Bob

If your missing on 1&2 or3&4 cylinders then its a CD unit. Other combination suggests stator.
