Hello everybody i got a glasstream 211 regatta. Me and my brother bought the boat and plan to restore this boat we spent $150.00 for it. The boat was in great shape i thought it would be cut in half for 150 but when i took a look at the boat before i bought it it was a pretty good shape the last owner stared to restore her but lost the will to fix it. He gutted most of the boat but the cabin and engine bay. Engine still in and it is the 3.7 470 merc i/o and what a mess that is he took the head off and stopped there i don't know how bad it is. But all and all hull in great shape top side in good shape just a perfect resto boat its my bro's first my second. got some craigslist pics new pic coming soon.

Thank you please comment and let me know what you think and i have know idea what a glasstream is lived on the water never seen one.

Re: 1988 glasstream Regatta

NewEraBoating24,
Welcome to Iboats.
I'm a little partial to Glasstreams, myself.
Some will say they are an entry level boat and not that well made. I have found that to be not totally true, but the hull is very good and solid. I'm looking forward to getting her back on the water.
Did you get the outdrive with the boat? I saw in the pic it was not on the boat.
Good luck with the project.
