Look at the top of page 1 in this section for it. Seafoam is what you need. Let me know if you can not find it.

Ken i did not do anything else just yet.But something else i did notice was that the bottom carb had gas leaking out somewhere and i was told it is doing this due to the fact of the cylinders not firing properly and the fuel is not being burned so it is loading up.Is this another sign of bad coils you think? Thanks John...........

No, this is a sign of a misadjusted float. A coil can not effect the operation of a carb. I think you licked the ignition problems. It's now time to address the carbs.

And, let me guess - it's the bottom carb, right (you fixed the coil on #1)?

Those 6-es never did get very high compression. 90 is right in the ballpark for healthy, and dead even is really all you care about anyway.

In my opinion, it's one of the easier things to do yourself. Even easier with an OEM manual. I think it's time you get one if you don't already.

OEM manual and 3 carb kits - might as well do 'em all and do 'em right.

But, let's make sure you've got a problem. Does it leak a lot, and does it continue leaking when you pump the bulb?

Once the float bowl is full, the float valve should shut and shouldn't allow any gas in.

Although, honestly if it's leaking at all it's a float or fuel hose problem. Either of which needs to be fixed.

Did not do any repairs today/ but getting dicouraged more and more every day.I took the air cover off and saw that gas was all over the inside of cover from each carb./ so i could have been wrong about the bottom carb.I think it is just running down from top to bottom.Yes maybe still carb problem but still dont understand why that 1 plug comes out looking like the ace of spades.
