I inspected the pistons and cylinder walls today and I did notice the the head gasket on #5 cylinder was bad. All pistons look good and cylinder walls also. I have 2 head gaskets on order. I did notice on the #3 cylinder while inspecting the cylinder head cover there is a good amount of pitting to it. Not on the surface that mounts to the head but on the concave section. What would cause this there is no damage to the piston or cylinder. Should I replace the cylinder head I found on on Ebay fir $60 but trying to to spend alot on the motor if I can't get the fuel delivery problem solved. Would it be OK to use it for now and replace later. I included some pics

It ate a piston ring at one time in its life. Pits/dent wont hurt anything, just make sure you got the gaskets for a 3.6L 175...

Which size head bolts you got? If they use a 1/2 socket they are 20-22 ft lb and if use a 7/16 socket they are 14-16 ft lbs. You start in center and work yer way out. Torque in in 2 steps...if 20 ft lbs first time at 10 the final at 20ft lbs..
