1988 lower unit

My 1988 Yamaha 30hp's lower unit took a dive and I found a 1991 Yamaha 40hp lower unit. Will this interchange with my powerhead?<br /><br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Mike

No, it´s different lower unit on the 30 and the 40 Yamaha.
