1988 Mariner 115 HP In-Line 6 ,

Boats been running fine , till last trip , started fine , jumped on plane & while running WOT had some hesitation. Did some fishing. Motor started fine again , went to get on plane & the boat just stood up , no power , once on plane , boat was moving slow , then it kinda had a surge of power & took off. Had some hesitation heading back to the boat ramp , at the ramp the engine keep shutting off.

I did install new plugs.

Took the boat out yesterday , got on plane fine with (2) people , I did notice some hesitation , could this be a fuel issue ? As in filter , fuel pump ?
