Helping a friend with his "new to him" boat. Straight-up, I've always been a Johnnie/rude guy, just don't hold it against me. Anyways, this Merc has Autoblend. Was wondering how reliable these are, anything I need to check (boat sat for 6 yrs). Do they have a low oil "buzzer" Guy wants to disconnect and pre-mix, Any thoughts? Serial # ob395775 Thanks, Chuck

The autoblend in my thoughts are not that reliable. I would go with the premix and that way you are sure that the motor is getting the oil it needs. Just disconect the autoblend and go with a 50/1 mix. JMO

Thanks for your reply. After posting this, I dug around, on this forum, and pretty much found the same opinion, Chuck
