1988 OMC 3.0 Noise

Hello All, 1988 OmC 3-0 making a strange noise, I noticed it when Cranking over, then stops and it will do it above 2,ooo RPM under load, but then stops when backed down to troll or Idle. This is almost like a Belt Squeel but not as high Pitched. I know noises are impossible to duplicate with words but..... I was thinking Alternator, what do you guys think? Thanks in Advance.

I think you should post a video of the noise and tell us where abouts in the engine compartment the noise is coming from.

Ayuh,... Is the belt loose,..?? pulleys rusted,..??
