Hello I'm new to the Boating game Please forgive me if I'm posting in the Wrong Section. Long story short Bought a boat from my Girlfriends dad he told me it had a leak in between the outboard and inboard but wasn't sure
Day I got it. Hasn't seen water in 2 years
I buy the boat get to looking at it has a Crack in the block
Call him and he's nice tells me to keep my Money and I now Have a Free Boat, Thanks to some fast research I find you can use the poor mans fix JB weld it and should hold So Were able to fix the crack also looked like its been welded before in another spot
Before:
You can see the Weld Job and the rust
We got in there Ground the Block down and Filled in With about 5 Coats of JB Weld
Her dad just assumes since it was cracked is why it was a leak. Go to take it out this last Sunday after all that work with High Hopes
Just to find that the cracked block was the least of our worries The Leak is pretty nasty. Water was coming in more than the Blidge Pumps could Take out
The Leak is in between the Transom plate and the Transom
I've Looked just about everywhere on how to Remove the Plate so we can Fix the Transom (Which is Flexing) and Seals. It appears that we have to remove the Whole Motor to fix it would like more Insight on it. Not scared of taking it out it'd give me the chance to Re wire everything (That's another nightmare)

Will add more Photos Later and Thanks for the Help in Advance
