Actually the brush set is still available for like $10.50 part # is F17611. However, you need to post more symptoms for the T&T system. Exactly what happens when you push the up and down button on the throttle handle. Is there whining or humming of the motor?

Myself, I've never seen the brushes so bad in these motors that they need replacing?
I have seen the contact(kinda like a points set) wire break loose and the motor stop working.
These motors aren't used enough to wear the brushes down.

You can remove the electric motor from the assy. and inspect it.
The relays are usually one of the parts that go bad and need replacing or the contacts cleaned.

Like Jiggz asked: More info??

The mechanic said that when it gets hot yes the contacts break loose said that the contacts touching the relays (brandnew) that it's gets so hot it breaks away like the brushes are letting to much amperage come through to relays idk I'm a dummy when it comes to that stuff lol but IL the trim motor is making a clanking noise like the brass bushes inside has either broke free or just wore it out completely I really don't know

Do not disassemble the motor unit yet. Instead, dismount and separate the pump's valve body first from the unit. Then do a test again on the motor. Is it still making rattling noise, if so then continue to disassemble the motor to check for loose parts.

If there is no more rattling noise when separated, then the problem could be in the valve body.

Maybe??Sounds like waters gotten into the electric motor.
Or the magnets broken free.
Or the brushes have broken free?

Taking the pump off is a PITA.
Very messy and the back screws are really tough to get at.
The head of the screw strips and then you have a real mess to deal with.
Remove the electric motor. 2 screws and it's done.

I honestly don't know guys ive been working 3 jobs and I just never really am home long enough to take a look at it myself the mechanic told me when I went the other day that the contacts where the relay plugs in was getting really hot and separating from the contacts inside the plug he said it had to do with something from my motor so we hit the trim up switch and I stuck my head on the pump it sounds to me like something loose inside the trim motor itself and ill be honest I'm not a wise guy when it comes to that sorta thing but I don't know where to begin to buy a pump or anything I have seen the rebuild kits which is a possibly the route I'm going to tack I would rather throw 15$ away rather that 75$ for a used junk pump but the cheapest pump I have found was 370$ and honestly I don't know if I'm going to just let it rest a year or not bc summers bout to end and hunting season it going to begin but id like to know if anybody knows a please or a alternative possibly beside manually trim the motor.

You unit comes it 2 parts.
The top is the electric motor and the bottom is the hyd. pump.
They sell new motors for $100 to $350+
They sell used way cheaper.

The hyd. pump. They sell new chineese crap for as little a.$90 up to $500
The used units are usually crap and last accordingly.
The more you pay the better it is(but not always)??
If it is the pump?? the best bet is to try and rebuild the original.

But you need to figure out what's bad?? pump or motor??

2 screws and the top of the motor comes off.
Then you'll know what you need.

The top 3 posts in this forum cover pump repairs.

Jdanielset ;
if you havent already fixed this.
you might get lucky if you take it to a old school generator alternator shop where they rebuild generators and alternators.
they might b able to help you out.
We have such a shop here in Tacoma Wa.
they are good at it too, they been around more than 50 years.
they rebuild alternators for me usually less than a hour if they arnt real buisey.
check your yellow pages for a alternator gen rebuild shop.
they are still around.
good luck
