1989 5.8 omc 351w installing cdi hei distributor. help!

I am replacing the old distributor with a cdi hei distributor. I have replaced the esa as well . I need help with wiring. Any schematics for this would help. Thanks

Not likely that your ESA will ever work with a new electronic distributor. This is a marine distributor you are installing right?

Yes it is a marine distributor, they sent me a new esa with it. The maker is CDI electronics.

Yes, CDI ESAs will work with some electronic distributors but not all. Which distributor did you buy?

I bought the whole kit from CDI. It came with new plug wire, and the esa. I know I am supposed to have straight12v power for these I just can't find any clear instructions on how to wire it.
