I have a 1989 Bayliner Capri that is 18ft. I have the Canvas tent for it but I need the SUPPORT POLE.

Does anyone have this they would like to sell it:rolleyes: or maybe know where I can get one. I have looked all over this internet with no luck.

You might be able to use a telescoping boat hook.

Shop right here on iBoats. It took about 30 seconds to find these. You need to use the right terminology when looking for stuff on the net. Calling something a "tent pole" will not likely be found in a marine store. However call it a cover support pole will turn up all sorts of adjustable poles.

i just ran into the same problem with mine, damn kids busted one and didnt tell me about it... My local boat shop said to have a custom "top shop" or covering shop make me one, but I think I can do it with some conduit, a few buttonhead screws and replacement plastic mounts, total cost should turn up around 10 dollars..

If all you need is a telescoping aluminum pole, go to a sporting goods store and get a telescoping tent pole--less than 10 bucks. A marine equivalent might be 30 or more.
