I went to look at a 21' 89 celebrity bowrider today actually fell in love with this boat motor was rebuilt in 09 new everyrything outdrive has been well maintained but the boat itself only has 207 hours on it so i am not to worried it has the 350 chevy and alpha one outdrive no clue on the ratio but just a stab in the ballpark how fast would you guys guess it goes

An '89 with only 200 hrs requires a lot of caution. The hour meters back then were not computerized with the engine and easily changed.

I do reallize this but for sure the motor was rebuilt in 09 he has receipts the boats in immaculate condition for an 89 even if the hours meter is off the alpha one outdrive is an easy outdrive to come by but im deffinately not new to the game when it comes to engines i could tell this engine had been replaced in iowa a 21' boat is an awfully big boat i wouldnt be shocked if it wasnt used a whole lot

thankyou thankyou sir im sure even though its bored to a 355 the thing is as close to stock as possible and honestly in a boat 45 is pretty fast to me anyway i dont think ive ever gone much over 30 my fathers was a 6 cyl and my uncles was a 4cyl i have been wrenching on inboard/outboards for awhile now but never one with a v-8 so i had no clue what to expect other than to fill a bigger tank and use it faster:laugh:
