Congratulations on your purchase. I took these pictures of the vinyl aft cabin access panel cover a few weeks back but i forgot to post. Here they are. You can see its vinyl by the creases in it. It has been folded up for a while. The 2nd pic is with the seat in place.

Thank you so much!!! We found a squarish panel with snaps in the storage area under the front berth and thought it was for the front hatch...perhaps it is indeed for this compartment area. Will investigate. BTW doralprestancia89 is my better half.

You're so lucky over there, we have to use our boats all year around
If you get the depth, length and width measurements before putting her to bed for winter you will have done the job a hundred times in your head, changed the layout a few times, perfected the installation process and selected the most appropriate materials before the next season starts, should only take an hour or so to finish the job after all that.
If the height is available I would add a surround to the top of the well so that the clear top is not screwed directly into the hull, this top is an inspection cover and will need to be removed for services and cleaning etc.

Wanted to let you know how we solved the problem in the end. Our boat had a new water heater and water pump installed. These both altered the space requirements therefore the original carpet covered plywood could not be used to protect the water heater as previous. So we cut it down to size and used it to cover the access area with velcro to hold it in place. We don't store anything hard heavy or bulky in that area to protect the equipment and the board works well to muffle the pumps etc.
