1989 E150 water in spark plug

I have a 1989 E150TXCEM, today I found a light green frothy water mix on one of the spark plugs, after looking at them for cold start difficulties. The funny thing is that, that cylinder is also dead of spark, as verified by meter. Could it be that if I had spark there I would be burning gas and steam there and not notice it? I found the spark problem to be the primary lead that feeds the coil. My question Is about the gaskets. Should I replace the Head gasket, the head cover gasket or both? It looks easy on the diagram to do the head gasket and torque it. Is it really a one hour job?

is it a saltwater or freshwater motor if saltwater it may be do to corosiomn and yes if theres water in the cyclinder change the head gasket

Yes, It is saltwater kept at the dock

My next question is, Are all the head bolts the same length.

if i not mistaking thay are i did a head gasket on a j150 same year im pretty sure they are the same just be carefull when taking them off that they are not coroded Get a shop book and follow the turque specs and diagram so that it tightens poperly are u in the south east

If the head gasket does not take care of the problem, I'd replace the exhaust cover gaskets next. These usually never get retorqued after the engine gets run the first time and they can leak as the engine gets older. Is this a bottom cylinder?

Right bank middle cyl.
I will check the exhaust cover gskts. and torque the head properly, I will post with results

What I found is that the aluminum cylinder around the cast iron liner was rotted under the head gasket land area. I cleaned it up with burr bits and wire brushes and put a nuclear grade steel putty on it (flexitec metal). I pulled that back down to flush after the cure time. I will put loctite 510 sealant on both sides of the head gasket and torque it down. It only has to get me to October (fishing season). Seeing that the rest of the cylinders are under saltwater attack. I realize that it may be time to replace this thing in the winter. I will probably try to find a used fuel injected outboard that will work, and do away with alot of other efficiency problems.
I'll post if this works or not
