Twenty-one pitch props.turning four grand need thirty-nine miles-per-hour....If the boat wont go any faster than 39mph,the motor wont turn more than 4000rpm.

Why don't you try a pair of Aluminum +/-15 X 17 and enjoy getting out of the hole more quickly? You can always go up to 19 pitch steel if that turns out to be comfortable.

Are these motors new to you, do you know the history before they were stored 5 years ago? Just need to know if they ever ran differently.

What is the top speed it runs now?

J.Williams, as per my GPS i was getting 31-33 mph no more.
Ezeke, your sogestion was my next choice of acction.
Ondarvr, no history on the motors. However after talking to severald owners of the same hull all running twin 200-225 various makes all 2 stroke. They all say their boats run 55-70 mph with similar props. It seems the motors have no power because to reach the 4000 rpm it takes too long.
AS allways any help is greatly appreciated.

I based that suggestion on a couple of things:

1. According to the Wellcraft site, your boat is rated for a maximum of 2 235HP outboards, and you have very close to that. web page

2. Most of the listings for similar boats with twin 225's are saying low 40's for top speed. See example - web page
