1989 Evinrude 150 V6 carb linkage

I have been searching for a picture to show me which direction the linkage goes with no results and the manuals doesn't say which side is up. One end has a hook and the other is straight. Does that hook go on the top or bottom carb?

Most likely very simple but those can be the most difficult to find ......

I believe the hooked end is the bottom.
